A commission for the Oxford Science Park this 14m long cast aluminium sculpture, suspended from the ceiling, is a 3-dimensional interpretation of the popular Second Chord in the western harmonic scale. This interval has a 9:8 ratio as it decays towards silence and the spline totals to 150m in length.

Visualisation of this spectrum was achieved with a machine based on a Victorian Harmonograph where two pendulums record the oscillations.
