A speculative development of 7 'Passive House' flats in North London. The highly asymmetric design uses 4 storeys of cross laminated timber as the structural system. Structure Workshop developed the CLT design to tender stage before handing the detail and fabrication over to a specialised supplier (KLH). This approach allowed the design to progress prior to competitive tendering. By contracting the technical design, the fabricator was able to use his preferred methods of working.
