A low cost, low carbon house, built as part of the Studio Bark No Building As Usual programme.

The house employs U-Build, a building system that utilises modern materials and fabrication methods to create a simple structure that minimises weight, waste, transport, plant, and the requirements for skilled labour. Structural efficiency is designed into the system via the cellular form and by mobilising the stiffening effect of the face panel. The resulting structure is exceptionally lightweight and stiff, yet tolerant of movement.
