Structure Workshop is providing ongoing structural design services to a community project in Waterloo that has transformed a derelict plot of land into an urban farm.
This barn structure bookends the site and provides teaching facilities as well as an event space that can be rented out to provide income.
The structure is framed in Douglas Fir with ply gusseted connections and employs exaggerated structural forms to span the space.
